MapServer is recommended for environments where performance is critical - it supports a vast list of data formats and allows style configuration through individual map files. MapServer runs on all major operating systems and will work with almost any web server. MapServer features MapScript, a powerful scripting environment that supports many popular languages including PHP, Python, Perl, C# and Java. Using MapScript makes it fast and easy to build complex geospatial web applications.
LISAsoft has configured MapServer for a number of projects, and our developers have been involved in the creation and maintenance of several modules. | Projects: |
