Open Geospatial Consortium

LISAsoft is an Associate Partner of The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). The OGC is an standards body responsible for several popular spatial standards including Web Map Server, Web Feature Server, and recently, KML (used by Google maps).

LISAsoft enjoys an international reputation of expertise with OGC standards, in part based on our experience with “test beds.” These engage the OGC's standards in field tests, prior to being approved for release. We just completed OWS-6 test bed, which focused on improvements to WMS-TS standard for tiled maps; and validation of City GML files, used for 3D cities.

We are pleased to support the use of open standards in the Australian market and able to recommend several excellent components to suit your organization's needs.
